    Description

    This 12 x 8 inch letter is two pages, the front and back of one page.  The letter is from M C Taggart of the 14th SC Infantry and is posted at Tomotley Plantation in Beaufort County, SC near Sheldon.  "Mcgowan's face is dragging the ground because he can't get a furlough" Names several people in the regiment and what they are doing.  There is some damage to the top of the letter and a hole or two in the top right corner.  The letter sheet was too long to completely fit on the scanner.   Shipping includes insurance.
