Offering a very 1863scarce Union Letter from a man named Harrison, to his
wife Betty Harrison.
A partial synopsis of the first page of the letter:
"We are at camp ... 28 miles
from Washington ... in here among the rebels .. they have took 10 of our men
and wounded one ... and at another time took 11 and killed one ... we are
bound to have a fight before long ... we have not got any pay yet and don't
know when we will ... ".
Pre-Owned, in good condition and readable. Very slight separation of the paper
at the first fold of the envelope. Paper lightly yellowed with no marking, tears,
or taping.
