    Description

This  fantastic PAPER DOLL (also referr

to as a Paper Toy or Coffee Card )  was issu
    ed
by the McLaughlin Coffee Company of the Unit

States of America as an insert premium in their brands of  McLaughlin’s XXXX Coffee.   I have not been able to find this series list
    ed
in any reference guide including Burdick’s American Card Catalogue (although he does list other McLaughlin Die Cut Toys and Paper Dolls). On the back of the doll a copyright of 1894 is print

.    The doll is made up of three parts in total.  The doll itself,  which folds open with a blank interior and printed front and back.  An outfit (dress in most cases) which is two sided and fits over the dolls head.  And a hat which also fits on the dolls head.  The inside of the outfit piece has printed advertising on it and indicates that 16 different dolls in the set and that each doll came with a hat and dress (outfit).  It also indicates that one doll would be found in each package of XXXX Brand Coffee.  They were also design
    ed
to fold open for them to be able to stand up for the child to play with.   The piece measures 5 inches by 2  inches approximately at it’s tallest and widest points (with hat and dress on).  The doll does have a name written in pencil on the blank inside (probably the name of the original owner over 100 years ago), it does have a small scrape right beside her nose,  other than that it features strong color and is fully intact with none of the usual tears you find at the shoulder fold seams  I have scann

This is a rare and highly desirable cross over collectable.
    It is covet

I  will be trying to list several  EARLY TYPE CARDS

I am actually located in Canada just across the border.  I have a U.S.A. mailing address, and I mail my items from the USA to avoid border delays.
Due to my work schedule and distance to the post office I am only able to ship  Monday Mornings
.  If I haven’t received payment for an item the EVENING BEFORE Monday  the item will have to wait until the next Monday  to go out. Its unfortunate but unavoidable.  If this doesn’t work for you I respectfully ask that you do not bid or buy. Thanks again.
I will COMBINE SHIPPING within Canada and the USA on items of similar size that are sold on the same day.
I am sorry but ebay's global shipping program does not allow combined shipping on International shipments
