William was in the thick of fighting during his enlistment, he saw and recorded many different aspects of battle, up close and personal!
I have transcribed all 3 letters, I've had these in my collection for decades, time for someone else to own and enjoy.
I will also add a COPY of a letter from his father to NY Governor Seymour.
