Antique 10 R&M Robbins & Myers Brass Blade Oscillating Desk Fan Runs 4253 Works

This is a very nice fan kept in very nice condition. It does have its little flaws, but overall, it's a headturner. The body of the fan is in near exquisite condition. I did wipe it down with some oil and boy does it shine. The brass blades look look like some of the varnish is coming off of each. There's some small scratches on them as well. The brass screw that holds the fan blade to the motor spindle is galling a little(I can send a pic if requested. Not enough space to upload all photos). Cage looks like it may have a very very slight bend in it, but isn't all that noticeable. The plug looks like it could use an update, but works well as it is. The grommits and wiring between the motor and fan base are aging and wearing away. Felt on the bottom is in very nice shape also with a few small holes.
As for the functionality, the fan works well but again, has some flaws. The 3 speeds all seem to run a little slower than I would expect. Even on the highest speed it doesn't throw out near the air that I would expect with my other fans. I did oil down the bearings too which sped it up a little, but still slower than I would expect. The fan does oscillate but can be tricky to engage. Fastest speed is 1st, and subsequently 2 and 3 are the slower speeds. I do not know if the switch was fixed or modified to do this, my other fans work in the opposite direction. Not so much an issue as im merely calling it out.
Blade is 8" in diameter and the fan stands around 14" tall.
