    Description

Please read all "CONDITION" section above.   I don't know anything about antique fans or electric.  The sellers at this estate sale where I purchased it said the blades are brass and that this fan in probably from around 1918 but it is not dated and has no original box or paperwork or anything other than the fan shown in photos by me.   It is an 8" fan but I don't know how they determined that.   I damp wiped the bottom only to look for writing and have not cleaned/polished or altered this in any way.  I am scared that if I plug it in I may start a fire or blow out my fuses.  It is in the same condition as when I bought it.   On the very outside bottom rim it has the series of numbers  "727062" and on a receptical in the bottom it notes with my magnifying glass  what looks like "GH" but it might be "GHE" "MADE IN USA" but it is hard for me to see (I'm an old gal".  There is an "on/off" switch on the back base and there is a nut on the side that is adjustable for the tilt of the fan area.   I have not cleaned the blades on this either but I can see either brass or bronze or copper but sellers said it is brass on the blades.   There are 4 blades.  There is no writing or badges on the back top engine area at all.   The cord has and one area has old electrical tape and the cord is cloth.  The plug is damaged and I don't know what it is made of but it is round.   I don't know if this ocsilates or not. I am listing 'as is' because it may not be restorable and may be for parts only and maybe it isn't even good for parts - I just don't know.    Overall it is 11" high  It is very heavy now before I box and package for shipping and is 8 pounds.  Maybe GH or GHE is a rare brand - I just don't know.  Thank you for all your patience with me.  Final bidder to forward payment to eBay within 1 day plus .35 S/H which includes tracking number.  NO payment received from or shipping to outside the 48 connected United States and NO Canada or Mexico or  PR  Please.  Thank you for looking and Have A Good Day!
