Civil War Documents
Pair of Civil War documents related to Private John McAllister of Company C, of the 18th New York Infantry.  The first is a discharge document - illustrated eagle and flag - signed by a surgeon to verify his disability.  Dated March 13, 1863.  The second document is a bounty claim (denied!) for McAllister dated 1870.
