Civil War Sec of State William Seward under Lincoln Telegram + Signed Envelope

For sale is a very rare actual paper telegram from Secretary of State William H. Seward to John S. Keyes, US Marshall instructing him to deliver John Williams to Lt. Col. Martin Burke at Fort Lafayette, New York. It is dated August 9, 1861. Also the original envelope from the American Telegraph Company addressed to Keyes and signed William H. Seward. Lt. Col. Martin Burke commanded Fort Lafayette and Civil War prison and was brvt Brig. General US regular Army March 13, 1865. John S. Keyes US Marshall was also a bodyguard for Abraham Lincoln.
