    Description

    Civil War soldier bounty, a neat document, power of attorney for Daniel Bussard, 3rd Maryland cavalry, appointing William B Hill as his attorney to help getting his 0 bounty.  Includes Bussard's signature, Thomas W Caulfield Capt of company and Otto Johnson signature and his title as commanding escort.
    Affixed to the document is a 50 cent revenue stamp (unused and not cancelled) in main body of document and another 2 cent revenue at bottom in form glued on to the bottom from the Treasurer of the State of Maryland stating that the 0 will be paid and signed by his attorney William B Hill.
    Overall fine condition but for a small piece off in UR corner, couple of edge nicks on bottom treasurer document, archival reinforcement at middle right fold, about 1 inch.
