Lot Consists of an UNUSED - CIVIL WAR ERA - UNION PATRIOTIC COVER WITH A PRINTED COLOR CACHET OF A FIRING CANNON & 35 STAR FLAG WAVING. Text beneath Cannon reads: "This is the Preacher that speaks to the purpose; Driving his Doctrines right into the heart of the foe." Rear of Envelope has an embossed flap seal. Envelope has wavy lines in paper. Cover comes as pictured in unused, unstamped condition. See images for more details on cover.
Cover is approx. 3-1/16" high x 5-5/16" wide and has some light overall toning from storage. Envelope has a seal on bottom center of flap edge, with what appears to be a dried up adhesive / glue. Nice piece of Civil War Era Postal Memorabilia. See Pics for More Details on Condition.
