Description
Civil War LetterCivil War letter written by Gideon Miller, Company G of the 33rd North Carolina (Confederate) Infantry. He writes to his sister, the widow of George Beckel - see typewritten transcript in the scan. He wrote from Camp near Liberty Mills which he says is 7 miles from Orange Court House and near Gordonsville. He expects to stay in the camp all winter. He mourns the loss of her husband.
