    Lt. in the Savannah Artillery at the outset of the war. Reverse side is signed by Joseph L. Locke, Major and Chief of Commissary of Subsistence, State of Georgia. Research on all 3 officers included. Telegram reads in full:

    Major, I this day send to you the following telegram
    Your order for Sugar was anticipated. 250,000 pounds will be shipped from Augusta and 75,000 pounds from here. By direction of the Chief Commissary
