Horizontal pair of Confederate States #1 canceled by "Tudor Hall VA Feb. 25, 1863" circular datestamp on envelope made from page 21 of what is probably either a book or a legal document addressed to Mrs. G.M. Dudley in Americus Georgia (there are other covers out there addressed to her).
These so called "Adversity Covers" were made due a shortage of paper in the South as a direct result of the Union blockade. The 2020 Scott Specialized catalog value for a pair of Confederate States #1 on a normal envelope is 0 with no premium for an adversity envelope.
