    Description

    A beautifully preserved 1892 copywritten chromo from the W.F. McLaughlin & Co. coffee company. Vibrant colors remain to highlight this family setting titled "The First Step". This chromo ad is one in a series of 18 from this time period. The back highlights the McLaughlin process of glazing coffee beans. A unique and bold description marred only by small mounting issues close to the corners. The vast majority of text is unaffected and remains to provide a wonderfully whimsical antique advertisement for coffee.
