    Description

    Confederate States postal history, Charleston SC cds with large 10, addressed to Miss Anna Clark, Richmond Factory Georgia, from S. R. Clark. Com F 12th Batt. Ga. Vols. tiny piece of cover at top left as shown missing, barely intrudes on return address. Clark was wounded in action at Moncacy MD.
    A nice homemade turned cover, ms town Richmond Factory (Ga) Oct 21 1863, paid X (perhaps for postage maybe but that is the rate), addressed to Walter A aChark Oglethorpe Artillery Gordon's Regiment, Savannah Geo, back flap missing.
    Previously owned by P.A. Kaufmann as noted in pencil on cover.
