Lot of 11 Carving chisels and Gouges in Box ca 1913 Nice Condition NO RESERVE

Description

This lot of carving tools includes 11 gouges and chisels.  All 6 of the hardwood handled tools in the right side compartment in the first picture as well as the first rosewood handled one in the left hand compartment are clearly marked D. R. Barton.  The remaining 4 rosewood handled tools are probably Barton as well, since they have the same metal finish and handles, but are unmarked.  All are in good condition with no chips or damage to the cutting edges.  They'll need little or no attention before going to work.  Back when these  were made there was no such thing as a "set" so I am sure the box was added by the user who carved his initials "JKR", the date "1913" and "LA Cal" on the back.   I will ship via  USPS priority mail to US addresses at the lower of the "by weight" or medium flat rate.
