THIS IS A HARSH LETTER FROM SCOTT CONCERNING A COMPLAINT MADE TO THE US POST OFFICE DEPT THAT JENKINS FAILED TO SUPPLY THE POST OFFICE AT KETCHUM, PA, ON ROUTE No. 2361, WYOMING, [PA] TO VERNON WITH THE MAIL, AND THAT HIS FAILURE SUBJECTS HIM TO A FINE – HIS EXPLANATION REQUESTED
!
THIS LETTER CAME OUT OF A SMALL ARCHIVE OF R. K. SCOTT LETTERS (THIS IS THE LAST ONE). OTHER LETTERS IN THE GROUP SHOWED THAT JENKINS WAS A ROGUE POSTAL ROUTE CONTRACTOR – HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THIS SAME POST OFFICE A NUMBER OF TIMES.
