Vintage WM HJORTH & CO. "2" Adjustable Crescent Wrench 8" Jamestown NY MADE IN USA
It works well. American Wrench Makers 1830-1930, 2nd Ed., by Kenneth L. Cope (Astragel Press, 2002) covers the WM. Hjorth Co. and the Hjorth Wrench Co. (both located in Jamestown, NY) on page 168. The Wm. Hjorth & Co. made pipe wrenches and combination wrenches and was active in the middle of the first decade of the 1900's. The "Crescent" pattern wrenches were made by the Hjorth Wrench Co., possibly no connection except the name, starting in 1915.

Size, weight, and destination (distance from Cherryville, North Carolina) may all impact which method is the better deal for the buyer.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Most of the items that I offer for sale are under 4 pounds in weight and can travel via USPS First Class International. I am happy to ship this way. As an alternative, I am also offering to ship through Ebay’s International Standard Delivery. You may select which you prefer. While I may not always guess which items might be of interest outside the borders of the U.S., if you are interested in buying or bidding, contact me and I will edit the entry so you can see what that expense might be and better know whether to bid/buy or not.
RETURNS: I will accept most items back (returned) within 30 days, as long as all items included are sent back in the same condition they were shipped. The buyer pays for return shipping. If you have a problem with your item, please send me a message about it and I will work to resolve the problem.
